You should definitely check Outside and Earthling, those two are exceptional. The rest have at least a couple good tracks per album (except Tonight and Never Let Me Down - yikes) but obvs nothing as good as the Berlin stuff

Honestly, I don't mind Tonight
Mainly... Loving the Alien, Blue Jean, and I Keep Forgetting
The rest is bland, yeah

The only song from NLMD I know is Time Will Crawl, and I actually like that song quite a bit. Is the rest of it really that bad?

Oh shit, I forgot about Loving The Alien. OK, so there's one good track, but the cover of God Only Knows is maybe the worst thing he ever recorded. And yeah, the rest really is that bad. But, I mean, don't let that stop you from listening to it to find out yourself. You might like it, who knows. But personally, yes, it's garbage.

His first really good album after Let’s Dance is Outside, that’s the one to go to if you wanna try newer Bowie and go chronologically.
Edit: Buddha of Suburbia has some good songs like the t/t and the ambient one.

I've been digging Black Tie White Noise a surprising amount. A lot of that's really good.

Black Tie isn’t bad true, but it also might seem good just cause what came before was so lackluster.

I think it is genuinely good on its own merit, though. The key is you just have to get used to its aesthetic, which is kinda early 90s dance meets the Berlin trilogy. Once you're acclimatised it's pretty great.

Album is possibly the best Neu! tribute. A shame they turned him down for a collaboration.
