Right? But only if you consider the good ol days the early 2000s, when it was just about youthful trolling, edgy opinions and boomer wild takes. At some point in the late 00s things started to go sour, with malice, polarizing, destructive trolling and personal attacks becoming more and more prevalent, and I'm yet to see Smok showing any of that.

Memories sure grow sweeter with time, but playful trolling and everything being less serious and sanitized is what I'm reminiscing. Point systems for internet conversations are some of the worst inventetions in human history. With their help concensus seeking mobs have transformed conversation platforms into echo chambers for their quest for approval. I guess crappy old interface, old school commenting system and personal(rude) users are what makes this site appealing for me :D
