I enjoy this more to Paysage, it's has more coherency to the structure, and the mix feeling more balanced. On the Paysage album, the vocals and drums were pretty muted, and the guitars just dominated everything. It'll take some time to adjust to that raw production style in black metal. Raw, at least compared to what I'm used to, like djent and all that.

Absolutely, and I think Im Wald is my favorite paysage release production wise. You can actually make out what is going on and it doesn’t blend together quite so hard
