Heritage is far more consistently engaging than Watershed for me. Deliverance and Damnation aren't engaging at all.

@JT well obviously I listened to it as a whole first time round, but if i revisit it now, i only revisit a song. I can easily imagine what it sounds like as a whole so it's not a problem. I feel like listening to a song on it, but never the whole thing and I like every song there besides Burden, so it's still a 4.5 for me

Yeah I guessed you listened to it as a whole at first, I'm just saying if I never feel like revisiting an album in its entirety then it's a pretty boring or very inconsistent album.

Fair enough. I like to think of songs as their own entity

The Celtic Frost cover is epic too now that I think about it.

For some reason this and WS are the easiest to listen to as individual songs besides Heritage and PC

I jam When on its own all the time, one of my favourite Opeth songs

That's how I always thought of it, technically it's an instrumental outro whatever it's not a main song like When or Amen Corner that's what I meant

Must always listen to Prologue all the way in When and that's just about it
