the remaster is pretty good on cd but i prefer a digital copy of the original



i have it on cassette too, which is actually the preferred method of intake

Pretty sure a few tracks had completely re-recorded vocals, among other sections (bass solo in Take No Prisoners).

My dad has this on vinyl, and the original press CD.

Yeah, a few of the tracks (like 2) have rerecorded vocals but some folks act like its a completely different record

haha i'm with you, i'm only 28 but i get nostalgic about the 80s like i remember them. i have and always will be a flannel and chuck taylor guy

Hmm? A lot of them were re-recorded, and while they're not really doing anything differently, I find them to be nasally and a bit annoying, where I really dig the original vocals.

i don't know man the original was notorious for having some of his most nasally vocals to begin with, i think that was dom's point that they weren't any different

But the remasters are far more nasally. I mean sure mustaine's voice is a bit nasally to begin with, but the remasters almost sound like parody.
