^ that's why that song is so amazing. It's so cool on a first listen when you expect to hear a "thrash" album. all about
timing.

My post was meant in response to YoYo's post. The vocals on the remaster are a lot worse.

most of the vocals are exactly the same except they're a little higher in the mix

I was a little too late for the leather jacket/high top combo. I wore the old flannel shirt/chuck Taylor combo.

Pretty sure a few tracks had completely re-recorded vocals, among other sections (bass solo in Take No Prisoners).
My dad has this on vinyl, and the original press CD.

Yeah, a few of the tracks (like 2) have rerecorded vocals but some folks act like its a completely different record

Hmm? A lot of them were re-recorded, and while they're not really doing anything differently, I find them to be nasally and a bit annoying, where I really dig the original vocals.

i don't know man the original was notorious for having some of his most nasally vocals to begin with, i think that was dom's point that they weren't any different

But the remasters are far more nasally. I mean sure mustaine's voice is a bit nasally to begin with, but the remasters almost sound like parody.
