Stare Into Death and Be Still..... what can a dude even say. This shit is beautifully amazing metal. I have listened to this album through a large number of times, and always find something new to enjoy. All the musicians on the album are top notch, and it is evident in the songwriting. As a guitarist, this album amazes me because of some of the licks in here. For example, the guitar part after the bird noises is way cool. Besides being fairly pretentious, I can't really think of a major flaw in this gem. I mean, this thing has a 4.5 overall rating on a site full of elitist bastards! (sorry guys) But I digress, this is a fantastic outing by technical death metal giants Ulcerate. Check it out now!

What a dissapointment. I am crying. Ulcerate has completely lost their balls on this one. What a sad sad day this is. Where has the adrenaline gone? Where has Paul's thundering voice gone? Sorry boys, you're heading down the sad pathetic path that bands like Metallica went down in the early nineties that inevitably leads to fans abandoning them. View the Dead Oceans (LIVE) video on You Tube, if you want to see what Ulcerate "Once" was... Goodbye Ulcerate. Rest in Peace. I'm outta here.

That doesn’t really make sense when your ratings are this high man, unless I’m misunderstanding the joke.

Can you please explain what exactly the appeal of a band like this is? I'm just a grumpy old woman; it's as simple as that. How on earth do they get people to enjoy their music? Do they just have a higher tolerance for it? Do they have deeper emotional attachments? No, these aren't rational questions. I just don't understand. In all honesty, I'm not a fan of any music or any scene. I've never been, I can't really follow other cultures, I don't have a sense of humor, I'm not particularly intelligent, and I rarely have a desire to talk with anyone about this at all.
