Learned how to rap as a little boy
Took a lot of crap as a little boy
Always had to fight back as a little boy
Always under attack as a little boy
Never got good grades as a little boy
I was locked in a cage as a little boy
Still, I never was afraid as a little boy
I was feeling my rage as a little boy
It's time to blow their minds

I hope the "nothing to say" is an allegory about Maynard also having nothing to say, because no matter what normies believe, L. Ron Hubbard had a lot of valuable things to say - dianetics. Also, the Jesus reference is aggressively dumb too, I just can't see Eulogy as a good song; it reminds me of Leonard Cohen's Avalanche, which is also a pretty song about nothing in particular (other than the artist smelling his own farts).

You seem to have missed the irony of the song, but I guess it takes a certain IQ to get it

OK EGARRAN.
Seriously, where the fuck is any irony in Ewlogy? Irony about what? Irony where? Irony how? Irony when? The commentary in the lyrics is unfocused at best, autistic at worst. It's basically a bunch of non-sense lines about how Kurt Cobain died around the same time as Bill Hicks and people forgot to mourn Maynard's favorite stand-up comedy leftist, told through an allegory in which this faux messiah (L. Ron Hubbard) is compared with the real one (Jesus Christ). I mean I'm talking out of my ass right now, because the song is actually about how idolization makes you manipulable, so the irony is that your interpretation is wrong, Egarran.
Also, my IQ is high enough (142-155), but I do however lack empathy, hence why I think Maynard is crying like a little bitch in this song. It's all emotional manipulation, and you're falling for it beautifully since MJK is your idol. That's the second irony, Egarran.

Tool is like Rick and Morty, To Be Fair, You Have To Have a Very High IQ to Get it. In addition Tool requires your third eye to be open and your fourth eye (aka anus) closed Just in case ...

Maynard is possibly the most inconsistent/hit or miss lyricist I’ve ever heard and this album showcases that perfectly. “H.” May very we’ll be the best set of lyrics he’s ever written and when he earnestly gets introspective like that he writes some genuinely deep and thought-provoking stuff… but then you have the songs like Aenema and Hooker where he tries to make some really shallow critique of “society, man” that falls flat on it’s face and ends up being nothing but a whiny cringe fest."
100% agreed with this random person. I can add Euology to his list.

In anticipation of seeing these guys again in February, the Tool binge has officially started. Would absolutely love for them to bust out with Eulogy and H. at some point of the show....
