i'm still mainly tryna figure out if it's actually bass guitar or just low-freqs of the electric guitar tracks that are more prominent due to an overall bass boost on the master

either way, sounds pr good to me

Fun fact: The vocals in this album were so harsh on James' vocal chords that they had to copy and paste them in several songs' choruses, e.g. The Shortest Straw.

Yeah, to my ears the bass sounded a fair bit more audible on the remaster. Obviously they should have remixed it instead of just remastering it but as it is the new version is a noticeable improvement.

I'm not going to listen to the Spotify remaster. I downloaded a 2018 edition of And Justice for Jason, that's my primary go-to.
