It does add to the atmosphere, for sure. But I still feel like there’s too much of it and it’s not where I would have liked it to be in the album. Honestly, I’ve cut some of the ambience out of my digital copy and it flows better for me.

God that riff in a new aurora is just too sexy.
Also if I had one complaint about this album it's the useless interlude tracks. We get an 8 minute break from the action with Ascending and that immediately leads in to.. .. a pointless 2 minute interlude why? We just had the damn interlude. And the second to last song is also counter-productive because it ruins the build up to the climax. No reason for those two songs to exist really.
