Imo TOCS sounds super aged. That was the most glaring thing to me when I revisited it. Maybe that’s just me though.

Nah it's still fresh as fuck. But maybe I'm just weird, as I could easily listen to it nonstop again for months at a time.

I’m jealous of you honestly. I used to have it 5d. Jammed it for years nearly nonstop. But then I went to listen to it recently after not having done so in a couple years and I couldn’t get past how it had aged 100%. Don’t get me wrong, still a fantastic album, but it just didn’t hold up to my expectations anymore. Glad you can still jam it like that!

I've probably listened to it a good 1000+ times now and it still sounds as amazing as the first time I heard it.

The band got super special with this album for me. TOCS is fun and refined for what it is for sure, but to me it’s kinda standard post hardcore/emo fare.

Please recommend comparable post hardcore / emo fare then.

TOCS was great but it wasn't special. This is both. I can scratch a post-hardcore itch with Senses Fail, A Day to Remember, Emery, Alexisonfire, etc etc etc. This album to me (and LitSoS) is entirely unto itself. Chasing Safety was a product of its time, but the next two albums were fresh and new sounding.

Agreed with that but I still like TOCS a bit more than Lost and Disambigation.

TOCS should be recorded again with different vocals and production.

Disambiguation just didn't hit as hard for me. Catch Myself Catching Myself bangs though.

This and Lost are perfect for days in Winter.

I’d definitely be down for TOCS with different production
