t/t is the weakest track, agreed. but master was always a bit overrated to me in the sense that it's a 4.5/5 and not a 5/5 imo

I've definitely read in an interview awhile ago with Iommi that Paranoid was basically a throwaway riff and the song was mostly just filler to them.

The label told them that they needed a "hit single" as far as I'm concerned. That's part of the reason on why the album's title was changed from War Pigs to Paranoid

Iron Man was one of my constant jams when I was a kid but I played it death and nowadays it's the only track on here that I normally skip. This album is do damn classy though and man Hand of Doom, Electric Funeral, War Pigs and Fairies Wear Boots could never get old to me.

Listening to Iron Man now 50 years after it was made sounds exactly like the innocent and unsuspecting start of heavy metal. It's as classic as can be but we've all heard it 4 million times so it wears thin

Hey don't shit on Rat Salad, that song is super fun to play on bass and just the right length for an interlude.

Iron Man is just... such a dull track? Like, it's got that plodding pace and dorky melody. And yeah, Paranoid smells like obvious single material. Hand Of Doom and Fairies Wear Boots are supremely cool and have that bluesish swagger to 'em. Iron Man is the vanilla of this record.
