Theres a video by Finn McKenty that I agree with him on, he was talking about bands that are "niche trash". It's very much a real thing, unknown bands who people think are the next coming of christ but are actually just horrendous and/or monotonous boring noise. Some of these include Ulcerate, Swans, Imperial Triumphant, and I think Finn likes them (god knows why) but Converge, fuck Converge. Metallica is better than all of these bands, Metallica are not the best band in the world, but they are certainly better than this dire cesspool of utter abhorrence.
