Error was a "holy shit" moment for me. But yeah, I don't think there's anything revolutionary like WP was. It's just the perfect mix of their sound matched with, I'm gonna say it, my favourite production work they've ever done.

One of those rare albums where at first listen you love it initially, but yet at the same time know that it will become an even stronger favorite with time and re-listens, an instant love while still somehow being a grower.
Its at the top of the pyramid. Im pending a 5 on this bitch.

Yeah, it just doesn’t have the heights of a White Pony but it’s for sure very strong the whole way through.

What was revolutionary about wp exactly, bearing in mind that atf came before it?

Observer knows, this is modern classic in the Deftones cannon.

Potsy is right tbh. Like I love WP but wasn't the revolutionary icon its made out to be.

Great track but I still can't decide between Headless, Pompeji and Error.
I'm still blown away by the consistency displayed on this album, might just be their best flowing album ever.

Revolutionary only because they decidedly went much dreamier and less heavy. Obviously Korea is kind of heavier tho.

Digital Bath is just idk, amazing to say the least.
Korea is a pure banger.
Knife prty is a Deftones anthem whilst still remaining very unsettling.

Yea man I can’t find anything that competes with Knife prty and Digital Bath in their discog. Knife prty especially just getting those mysterious eyes wide shut vibes

knife party was one of their first songs i ever truly loved

Their best stuff is like going into these weird genre blended niches, ditching traditional song structures, and just vibing.

It's one or their best ever, no doubt.

Concerining WP, the whole Back to School being forcibly added to the album against the band's wishes always bothered me. Song Sucks. I always just listen to the version that starts with Feiticeira. Album flows better without it honestly.
