A few good songs, solid riff-writing and stuff...
Honestly though, this is really boring music, songs of out of place riffs and formulated repetition. Paul has a really nice voice, both growling and singing but it's just plain and dull given time. I guess it's not too bad though, considering much of traditional *progressive* rock is as boring. I just feel this is progressive for the sake of being progressive, and although the instrumental parts are actually really good, the songs just sound randomly glued together in a typical messy progressive way.

The combination of slowcore and post-rock is wonderfully beautiful and sad in a sort of complacent way. Literally the epitome of music. Very, very pretty and relaxing, but it drags a lot. You've really got to be in the right mood to get all the way through this, but when the mood hits there's nothing better.
