The mixes were busted, I don't blame them for not fixing the bass.
I do blame them for fucking up the album information on Spotify. We know it's remastered, you don't need to have a "remastered" past each song title you fucking idiots.

ah right, st anger, the other big "fan revision gold mine" Metallica album
however, i was already one of the 5 people on the planet who actually didn't hate it :O

Most remastered versions have this. Helps you to not accidentally play the abortion that is the Rust in Peace remaster. If you care that much about your song labelling you should just buy an iPod

@Ben: Lol, the only reason I care is because it fucks with my last.fm stats.

^ah fair enough
Maybe the reason I love Metallica so much and think they're overhated is because I've never listened to St Anger

Try being a massive fan of them for your entire life and waiting for St Anger to come out and hearing it being a "back to roots, actual metal" album from Metallica - first metal album since Justice.
Then imagine hearing from every source ever that it's actually a fucking amazing, intense metal album.
Then imagine waiting on a line that goes out of the store just to buy the fucking CD.
Now listen to that album with that in mind. That's what happened to me in 2003.
YEARS OF THERAPY HAS NOT FIXED THIS

I don't blame you for hating St. Anger.
I went in completely blind when I bought it and ended up kind of liking it.

Honestly I was in that phase where anything that sounded abrasive sounded good to me so it filled that niche.

Haha I feel for you Lucca
Did reviewers actually say it was good when it came out?
|
| |
Yeah i didn't have any of that "baggage" when i went in listening for the first time. had no pre-conceptions of what Metallica sounded like or more importantly what i wanted them to sound like, it's got issues but i'll never hate it like nearly every hardcore fan seems to. Genuinely like the first two tracks & there's some keepers after that
