"it's a jam but ozzy sounds so preachy and god-loving I just cant take it seriously when all the other songs are doomy and downright evil sonically"

i guess bs lore has been lost to time because people say this all the time but for the uninitiated they were actually christians and the doomy thing was just an act and they wanted to include some christianity in the music to demonstrate this

No. And a apparently if they stole anything it was The Beatles' I Feel Fine.

My only problem here is that the less interesting somgs here just feel like boring repeats from Paranoid

It's the same band but this doesn't sound like boring repeats from Paranoid at all, lmao.

Others can think me odd, but I actually like this album over “Paranoid”.

Don’t get me wrong, I 4.5’d “Paranoid”, and about 99% of my ratings are objective, but yeah, personally, this feels stronger overall and it’s got a good flow.

compared to paranoid, the riffs here are constructed in a more "sophisticated" way, plus the guitar tone is probably the best i've heard in the metal genre

there's something else too that gives this album some extra points:

paranoid is more of a "hit album" whereas this feels more "underground". It's not for the masses
