Just heard the new Radiohead album 'Radical Romantics' in full, too (for the first time) and it's great...
Karin's career consistency is phenomenal. Further listens will reveal where this ranks in her discog, I suppose.

I saw Radiohead in Barrie, Ontario not long after this album came out. It was outdoors. Amazing show. I still have my bootlegged t-shirt. Some guy just drops a duffel bag full of shirts in front of a crowd walking back to their cars. They were super cheap so I didn't feel too guilty buying one.

Sush this is the fever ray thread

But I shared a relevant story to the album haha

Lucky — I’ve heard a handful of bootlegs from that era and every single one feels alive, has a distinct sense of urgent character

I might be wrong was incredible live. To be honest I forget by now what other songs they played not from this album. I am sure they played paranoid android. I don't think they played creep haha. Packt like Sardines ownz. I know they played that.

What They Call Us, Shiver, New Utensils, Kandy, Looking for a Ghost, Carbon Dioxide all top tier Karin cuts
|
| |
Looking for a ghost is the one I’m still not quite sold on, tho it’s a highlight for my partner. I’ve been trying to decide what’s best between shiver, new utensils, and Kandy and have narrowed it down to the latter two with new utensils likely being the craziest song of the year and Kandy being the best song of the year
