Yeah Doof we've discussed this multiple times in the past but I really don't see why you don't love I Need My Girl.

"Remember when you lost your shit and / Drove the car into the garden / You got out and said "I'm sorry" / To the vines and no one saw it" is one of Matt's most devastating images ever.

This could easily change but as it stands Heavenfaced is my least favourite.

Heavenfaced is an acceptable least favorite, even if it is still a great song

I also love that lyric from I Need My Girl, Boney

However, the song does the same thing Demons does to me

One of my favorite things about Sputnik is when National threads get bumped and the whole squad mobilizes.

Still working out if Graceless would make my top 3, feel like it probably would

It's just the arrangement and melodies - it's one of their most 'could have been written by anyone' songs, it's still good, especially the synthy antmospheric touches, there's just something too 'on the nose' about it for me

Not a major complaint, it's still a 3.5/5 song

I am invisible and weightless

You can't imagine how I hate this

Heavenfaced could have been a truly great song with a few alterations here and there, their most frustrating song - also a 3.5, I'd rate everything else higher though

I'd say listen to Have One On Me but it's a commitment

A beautiful, devastating commitment

Fireproof has to be where it is, it's a functional 4/5, out of the context of the track flow maybe a 3.5/5. I still like it a fair bit

All about that doomy noise after he sings 'fireproof'

This definitely one where the full experience is better than the individual parts, to an extent.

It's all about the immersive atmosphere.

Squalor Victoria is another functional 4/5 on Boxer, can't imagine the track flow working so well without it

It's a sweet little line but yeah it gets repeated too much

Let's just take some time to appreciate Sea Of Love now
