My opinion of this album has remained the same since I first listened to it honestly. It's great.

I rarely jam individual songs off this, works so much better as a wholistic experience.

First time I heard this, I was convinced that Bloom was a Can track, it's baffling. A lot of stuff on this has tons of Krautrock influenced bits, especially in the drumming.

disagreed so hard

massive influence from various electronic sub-genres

It's amazing to think how far the band has come, especially since Thom was writing lyrics like this in 1993:
Been thinking about you, and there's no rest
Shit, I still love you, still see you in bed
But I'm playing with myself, what do you care
When I'm not there
Even the leap in quality between Pablo Honey and The Bends is pretty huge.

never checked PH even though i like all the their other records
