Sigo escuchando a perfect circle igualmente. Tal vez regrese a escucharlos en algun momento pero no ahora.

I remembered being a fresh, budding 13 y/o metalhead and absolutely worshiping the fuck outta this band. They lost some of their appeal over time but this and Aenima are still near classics.

Undertow is great but the quality jump to Aenima and this is massive

Got some new wheels and been jamming the new Blade Runner 2049 soundtrack while driving, and the car has space controls so it’s a cool experience. It’s fun to pretend.

Silver 2013 Honda Civic. I think in 2012 Honda made their cars futuristic and overhauled the design, and I got it for under $12k with 54K miles, so it should last me like a decade.

Back into the album itself, I remember when I started to listen tool I was thinking "my social life has been a giant zero, so I still dig for something weird and unknown in music, and I found this blow-minding band" I remember that I was also a little bit depressed because in the early 00's if you didn't listen to electronica/techno you were neither part of the trend nor you had chances to meet new people in public places.

Sometimes when I went to 15's birthday (the Latin equivalent to U.S. 16 birthday), I started to go mad because of how boring the music was and I went like "where's the weird time signatures, where are my lyrics about Jung, where are the dark atmosphere in the songs? this dumb people look like they're so retarded when listening cuarteto, cumbia and regaetton"
