yeah Silent Circus is much less focused on strings of sometimes non-recurring melodies, i cant understand how someone thinks silent circus is 'dry' in anyway, thats absurd.

no the tones on alaska are pretty lame, a lot of that album is pretty inconsistent too. the best stuff on it is awesome but its their weakest next to their debut. silent circus shits on alaska in every way

^Double that no. Tommy's vocals on Silent Circus sucked and I absolutely love his vocals now. He's one of my favorite vocalists actually. Looking back at SC it's pretty cool to see the huge improvement.

i think his vocals were the best on Alaska just for the diversity. all his screams sound exactly the same now

they didnt improve from tsc to alaska really. as musicians, yes. but the silent circus has 10x better metal sections than the annoying death metal attempting sections sometimes present on alaska. The Silent Circus also flows a lot better than Alaska. Colors is my favorite though but w/e silent circus shits on alaska thats it
