wait i just realized. didn't you give that dogshit counterparts album a 2.5? there is no way you think these two are equally mediocre. i'm down for anyone giving this a 2.5 but this absolutely shits on that album bro

This is much better at its best that the Counterparts album, but also much more of a chore over a whole listen (and the good parts add an extra since of awkwardness to the awful ones - hearing White Void come from the same band who made Colossal Wreck makes me wanna be extra harsh on the inspirations at play)
Could square it as a 2.6 vs. 2.4 scenario, but I don't care about Counterparts enough to drop it and this is too tedious to get bumped hmmm
