they are inextricably tied, yes, but you'd be looking for something more distinct and appealing in, say, a pxhc band than in a black metal band. As far as black metal goes, you just gotta stick to more or less the same style and let the music do the talking - excuse that pun

This is cool but I prefer the Live In Leipzig versions of these tracks any day. These vox are not unbearable, but they aren't for me.
