Been listening to a lot of Nirvana lately after allowing them to mostly be a fond memory for the past few decades. I listened to Smells Like Teen Spirit last night and it was like the slate of memory had been wiped clean. I was overwhelmed by how heavy and angry it sounded, and it became crystal clear why that song was the birthcry of a whole movement.
