I feel like BoO’s early stuff was heavy on synth and very much a part of that brand of core, still shown on this album too. After that they lost a lot of identity for me

I'd argue these guys were key in getting the Warped and Myspace crowds into djent and brought it to younger audiences. They were pretty young themselves when they took off

Really though tell me what you don’t like about this? I’m curious. There’s tons of shred, cool synth bridge sounds, and vocally great as always. I know you don’t really like djent in djeneral but I’m curious why this is that low

I hate everything about it. Production is awful and, like yo6 said, way too djent-ish for me. Just not my style at all sadly.
