Might be jens reddit account or something lol. Kinda strange how he would know all that.

He must be Jens' evil twin, Snej

Why is nobody ranking Contradictions' opener, Paralyzing Ignorance? It's good!

Gonna be dead honest I've never listened to Contradictions once in my life.

Me either really. I put it on once like years ago and thought to myself this doesn't really sound like meshuggah and never bothered again. Cut it off after second track

For me it's a tie between Future Breed Machine and Stengah. Not sure which one would win tbh; and then runner-ups would be Concatenation and Combustion

"Combustion is superb."
Great track on it's own but easily overshadowed by the rest of the tracklist imo

"I'm not sold on the abysmal eye dropping Friday just yet. Some random guy posted it on meshuggah reddit that its dropping Friday. Theres literally no word on it anywhere else on the internet tho. We shall see. Either hes fucking around, misheard, or someone with connections to the band told him. Cause he didn't see it on google."
As far as i know, the teaser is confirmed to be Ligature Marks, not The Abysmal Eye

Sadly this is the only Meshuggah album that I just straight-up can't get into. To me, it's the only record of theirs that doesn't progress their sound forward in any meaningful way, and just seems like a big rehash of what they've done already. Maybe I'll spin it again sometime soon and see if my opinion changes, but yeah

I think I like 3.0/3.5d this when it came out. Steadily been growing on me over the years.
