Daily Mail is an awesome song, yes, but I don't think it'd fit in with the rest of TKOL. It's far too brash, and TKOL is quite restrained and subtle. Staircase would've been a great addition, though.

In the Live from the Basement version of this they include those tracks and they work perfectly, they just had to also reorder the others. Much more satisfying listen, and they use all real instruments too.
