What an endless spiral of disappointment this band has been since they came back. Bums me out.

I was prepared to be the one to actually tolerate the new song but man it sucks. The low pitch voice is so gimmicky, and overall it really does sound like BMTH song.

Haha, I watched that live performance of Cycle and he doesn't look as large anymore, but it's hard to tell with the flashing lights and all that hair waving around blocking the view. Maybe he moved down from super heavyweight to heavyweight?

Speaking of that digital ghost live performance, is it actually live? They sounded a bit too polished in it.

yea he sounds a good bit better on the stream. one of my biggest highlights (im pretty sure im out of luck and have no friends) was in part bc spencer lets out some of the most massive lows ive heard out of him in a while but i know the album version wont do that song justice lol

Outside of the weird robo voice, I really dug Numb. The chorus sounds great to me (though some of the choruses in other tracks were somewhat weak, by far the biggest problem with the album). That and Pneumonia sound better in studio than they did on Digital Ghost imo. The rest of the songs sounded better live, mainly because the heavy bits lack punch in the studio version. All the tracks on the album are at least pretty good.



Nothing in any of the new tracks sounds like BMTH at all to me. Not sure where you guys are hearing their influence. The album sounds like Disambiguation + a little Erase Me and LITSOS thrown in the mix. With miles better songwriting than Erase Me, but inferior songwriting to the big 3 Spencer albums (Define, LITSOS, Disambiguation).
