Starless and Bible Black rules too...in fact, Court through Discipline is like the greatest 8 album streak.

Epitaph > In the Court of the Crimson King > 21st Century Schizoid Man > I Talk to the Wind >
Moonchild

I really wanted to like this more but Moonchild just kinda kills it for me -_-

Epitaph is easily the best.

ArsMoriendi ranking it last out of the good songs only confirms that.

"Moonchild" is a masterpiece.

JamieTwort calling it not a good song only confirms that.

Nah, if I say that it probably means it's not a good song.

How is it a masterpiece? It has some of the worst improv ever.

Cos it's "experimental" it must be good, right?

Nah, it's good cause it's beautiful. Its use of short, sparse notes and pauses (with less-occassional-than-people-claim-it-to-be shifts into captivating melodies) is incredibly atmospheric. I honestly couldn't imagine a better audio version of a dark, spooky night.

I like experimental music for sure but certainly not all of it is good, check my ratings for experimental genres if you don't believe me.
