I'm halfway through the ELP debut now and it's suiting me pretty well. Judging by the Sputnik averages they only have four albums worth listening to so it's not too much to handle.
Better make that 5. Pictures at an Exhibition (live album) is right up there with those 4 studio albums. It's not your usual live album, it's an adaptation of a classical piece with added lyrics/vocals. It's just as essential as any of their studio albums imo.

I like it an all but i dont get why the psychedlic shit is considered so impressive. Its boring to me, and I cant stand the first three songs off of Dark side for that reason; plus the fact that all my teachers, classmates, etc would dickride this band and play it every fucking day during class. So yeah, I've got this shit memorized. Like every word and guitar lick
