lol no. I don't think Dani ever hit a discernable peak, his vox have always been very good aside from this album. I honestly can't even believe he's been doing what he's been doing for so long and still sounds good. I feel like his voice should be annihilated at this point.

yeah that's why i liked this one in particular. I tried to go back to Cruelty a while ago and relisten but I was really surprised to not like it at all. Haven't really checked their new stuff bc i just don't care to listen to Dani's voice anymore. There's goofy super serious and then there's that guy lol.

Is the guy you're referring to Pinhead? If you like the thrash, Nyphetamine is similar stylistically but infinitely better, I recommend that one hard even though you don't like Cruelty anymore for some reason... I mean, Orchids, Twisted Nails, Bathory Aria, Lustmord, how anyone doesn't dig that shit is beyond me. I'm glad they take themselves seriously though because even though their over-the-top aesthetic is ridiculous and gaudy, Dani's lyrics are always serious and a bajillion steps ahead of his contemporaries.

I figured you meant Dani but I don't find him that cheesy honestly but I grew up on bm vocals. The Pinhead actor that appears in a bunch of songs like Her Ghost In The Fog and Rise Of The Pentagram, I do find that guy almost unbearably cheesy, especially his delivery. That's why I considered you might have been referring to him for a second.
