Finally listened to this and it rips more than I was expecting tbh. Will spin more to confirm but I'm thinking it's comfortably better than LINE, and could even push for top 5 Converge. Hell yeah

A band of this extremity putting out something this good 30+ years into their career is absurdly impressive

yeesh 40 is steep, that’s like 60 usd… but I’m with xing, if ya can swing it then it’s absolutely worth it. They’re an incredible live band, and it’s even more impressive when you consider they’re fucking 50. They bring more intensity and passion to their live performances than bands with guys half their age

Ben mentioned they’d be hitting some cities that they never had before… I’m REALLY hoping that means maybe an STL date but I saw they’re playing in fucking Alaska so that’s probably what he meant. I’ve seen these guys like 5 times and I’ve always had to travel for it, I don’t mind it because I do adore them but times are really tough right now and I just cannot afford to drive up to Chicago to see them



Which really fucking sucks because I feel like they’re finally really gonna shake up their setlist considering they have a whole fucking hour of new material. I love these guys to death but out of all the times I’ve seen them I’ve probably only seen like 30 songs live… always a bunch of the same songs off Axe to Fall, the usual suspects on AWLWLB and The Dusk in Us, You Fail Me t/t a lot… etc.



I was very surprised that they played Eve a few years back, and I finally got to see The Saddest Day the last time I saw them, but damn it’s gonna suck if I can’t see them when it seems like they’re finally gonna play a bunch of new shit.

St. Louis? do you guys get many stops or do bands skip to Chicago like Denver>KC. really hurt when a firetruck plowed into the local premiere metal venue years ago now- not during a show thankfully

Yep. Fortunately it’s situated pretty evenly between KC / Chicago / Nashville so I can pick which date works best for me… but I’d rather not have to yknow. We get skipped over A TON.



Which I kinda get, our scene here isn’t that great. We got a couple of (great) small venues but it’s the same local hardcore bands playing all the time.



I’ll say I saw Static Dress headline here and I was fucking shocked they were doing a headline date in STL. That’s how bad it’s gotten, that I’m literally surprised when a band announces they’re playing here.
