Why Sleep Token are best when it comes to modern octanecore. Sleep Token has more of a sense of "class" to their music than most other bands right there. Extremely beautiful and moving piano passages. Soundscapes filled with beauty and care. The post hardcore influence is often light, which is able to work in their favor. The absence of overtly emo delivery is refreshing, it really adds to the classy and composed aesthetic. A song like Caramel is definitely one of the weaker on this album, but I get it for being a radio type song. Shut up hawks.

"classy and composed aesthetic" are to be expected. It's poetry metal afterall. I really like my music composed.

The whole -core thing is laughable to begin with. It essentially means nothing. « Clowncore », « cottagecore », how about you « touchgrasscore »
