Hawks dude you need to go see them as 'An Evening With' where it's just straight Dream Theater, no opening act, for a full 3 hours. You will love it!

After a couple of listens I found the album rather average...

The hawks DT hate is very forced but nothing will convince him
Yeah this album has some layers to it on repeated listens, can't say the same about many of their recent albums where often times what you see is what you get on first listen. I think the strong thematic cohesion really helps on this one

Swap falling into infinity and octavarium and you probably have my list, and view needs to be a few steps lower as well

Falling into Infinity easily my second favorite DT. Just sayin. haven't written many reviews, but that's the one wish the most could redo

Working my way through it now. Genuinely impressed in a lot of ways. First DT record I’ve really enjoyed since Train of Thought.

Bro what the FUCK: this solo in Bend the Clocks. This is by far the best DT record since ToT. This may end up a 4.5
