PH and bends are just poopy 90s grunge-tinged rock, kill that shit with fire, eradicate it from the archives

You can say the same about OKC if you're throwing them into that bucket, but Bends is way more refined and thought out than PH

refining poop still produces poop, so both albums are easily negligible in their discog

Not as great as any Radiohead album after PH but it's still mostly good. I'm glad they abandoned trying to do post-punk. I think a different track order might've benefited this with a few more songs included like Bodies Laughing, Colours Fly, and Just Eyes and Mouth. Still waiting on proper recordings of those because they sound really impressive live.

This is pretty on par with King of Limbs

the awesome 'four pretty good Radiohead songs and some filler' The King of Limbs, mighty indeed

'Bloom', 'Codex', 'Separator' and 'Lotus Flower' are about the level of this, 'Give Up the Ghost' is nice enough I guess, little bit filler-ish, would be the least impressive thing here or perhaps the closer on this one
Rest of KoL is way behind this level for me, just B-Side level for Radiohead

Album Rating: 2.5
>fingerpoints an album for filler
>picks the two most pedestrian Rh-by-numbers tracks on it as highlights
classic example of a Bends defender not knowing the meaning of filler
