Lot of people including myself just can't let go of formative bands - title track isn't great I'll give you that

think enough time has passed to more formally label this as perhaps the worst-sounding record officially released by a band I was previously a big fan of

that's uh

some kind of accomplishment I guess

The good stuff just gets better with every listen.

Still not sure how I feel about this but it isn't terrible.

If you replace the +44 album and the Boxcar Racer album (which I consider the "lost" Blink-182 albums) with California and Nine you get a pretty consistent discography.

Yeah Matt Skiba era is pretty much a different band in my mind, BCR and +44 make sense in the progression of blink's discography, luckily I feel like this album picks up where they left but with a lot more of their core identity than what was presented on Neighborhoods

Pt 2 mostly feels like b sides. Decent b sides, but still.

I had fun this this album, but I agree that part 2 was not worth releasing. Listened through once and agree it felt like Bs
