Guys this album is not overrated anymore lol it's a well received album in general. Production could be a bit better but it is what it is. It's got a 3.8 on here and a 3.7 on rate your music out of 1000 reviews. Most ppl enjoy this record. Quit saying it's underrated. Dude that wrote the review is just a dumbass he clearly states he's not a huge fan of the band in the review.

The review is from 2006 from some user who wrote shitty reviews back when there were no standards here.

I feel you. But im just saying the record isn't really underated nowdays. Alot of Immolation fans have this record up higher out of the discogs. If it gets a slighter lower average around places it's kind of well deserved cause of the mix. even tho it's my person fav record from them. Some people get out of hand with the "underrated" thing nowdays. Ppl will call wide acclamied albums underrated... Like wtf are you talking about lol

Somewhat newer to the band. Whats y'all's ranking of the records? Mine. 1.Failures for God's 2.Here in after 3. Unholy cult 4.Close to a world below 5.majesty and decay 6. Dawn of possession 7. Atonement. Only ones I've heard. The last record atonement is still a 7/10 to me. Is harnessing ruin, kingdoms of conspiracy and shadows in the light worth checking out ? Hear mixed answers on them

Rowhaus Immolation are deff one of the most consistent for sure. 10 records and not a bad album is pretty rare is music. Shadowmire ahhhh...... Idk man. I respect your opinion. Dawn of possession is their weakest out of the first 5 to me personally. I've heard alot of others say the same as well. Reason I say that is cause they evolved after Dawn. Dawn is the more straight forward record I perfer the more twisted complex sound after. But that's the beauty of music man their is no wrong answers or opinions

And personally close to a world below gets to be a BIT overrated as well. The reason I say that is cause the next record unholy cult is just as good.... Seriously. And it's not talked about nearly as much as close.

Unholy cult is great but ctawb may be the most menacing album ever made. The riffs are consistently god-tier.
