Either an oversight that Sectioned and Frontierer aren't mentioned or this opening track is an anomaly

Spirit I think it is supposed to be both and the fact that the idea of somebody callous following daoism is an impossibility makes it all the more fun

@g40st I usually don't like focusing too too hard on comparisons nowadays unless warranted, although Frontierer are included in the related artists' section.

Why is this not showing in the 2022 chart?

Chart hasn't been updated in general, the vote counts for the albums on there are significantly behind. Probably needs an edit at sometime, but that tends to come at a glacial pace.

Yeah this is probably my AOTY at the moment
Curious if it’s the kind of hype album that’ll ware off me or if I’ll still love it at the end of the year

They closed with that song last night and it was glorious
Rolo absolutely stole the show though, I was very impressed.

It was an awesome show man, both new albums sound fantastic live, but Rolo's sound translated the best live, very well produced and Eva is a terrific stage presence.
An incredible time overall, they both killed it and I loved hearing new stuff, especially "Star Baby." They brought the guest sax player on the tour and it's a ton of fun.

Hilariously sad that I can’t remember a damn thing from new Rolo. Listened to it when it dropped, earmarked it for followup listens and never got back to it. It’s pathetic, really…

Pumped to see the last stop on the tour next week in Brooklyn, glad you had fun Mars!
I’ll try to record a few songs while I’m there, but don’t want to do too much. Will get at least one new track from each.

Not surprised to hear that Rolo had a more polished live sound, especially since they’ve got a lot more experience under their belt
Sounds like a badass show though

Saw them in Columbus! Crowd left a lot to be desired, especially seeing videos from Chicago and most recently Tennessee, where the audience really got into it. C-Bus metal scene in general just seems kinda... eh? They don't throw down/emote much.
Bands themselves were amazing though. It was weird though; on Sput, Rolo is this highly-respected, trailblazing group, and while I'm standing around waiting for the set, Eva passed me like twice just walking around. And Carson, the Daoboys vocalist, was out moshing for like half their set lol

I went to the Nashville show and Callous had the largest and most energetic crowd of the night. I actually felt bad because about half the room cleared about 3 or 4 songs into Rolo. Both bands were incredible though.

Interesting! I think the crowd Columbus had was more involved with Rolo and they got far more reactions.
