Yea, my final legacy to this piece-of-shit site. This was one of my favourite sites of all time. I had a lot of different friends that shared the same music as I liked, but more and more assholes joined the site and my friends got banned or the simply quit visiting the site Feel free to create multiple user-accounts to flame me and this review. I don't fucking care anymore. I'm done with this site. God-like thanks to South_Of-Heaven_11, Shadows, Cravinov_13, Silent_Echo, BallsToTheWalls, Rattlehead and a few others. I hope that you will have a good life ahead of you, but this is my final farewell... Thank you Sputnik music for giving me the opportunity to discover new music and friends... metal will always stand tall m/ m/

I wish it was me. Epic mic drop, obviously.

It's so funny, humorous enough and then the "metal will always stand tall" just finishes it off perfectly

Purple Envelope is legit magic

Album Rating: 5.0
Yeah it absolutely is. The lyrics there are some of the best on the album and Jack's inflections are brilliant.
I'd still rank Chalk Dust, Seven of Your Favorite Stars, All The Stories Left To Tell, and To The Touch ahead of it, though. Capo 1 has also grown on me to the point of possibly being in that company. Whole album is a shimmering pool of emotional summer vibes.

well said!! except for the part where any tracks are better than Purple Envelope ;) I do think Capo 1 is my 2nd favorite
this band is the top artist of the last 7 days on my last fm so now I must know... is Jack the one sporting the pink shirt?

nah i'm the one on the right who looks really pissed off lol
we really need to take another band photo

Missed opportunity there ;)
Haha nah it’s cool to be able to put a face to the name. Keep doing what you’re doing because this album is wonderful

thanks dawg we will try our best, i feel like this was a pretty significant improvement over the first album so there's no reason the next one can't be even better

Witches With Dicks, wholesome music for the family to enjoy.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the debut as inferior to be honest. I feel like Midnight Sky is...cozier, or something? There's a magical aura to it that can't be replicated. I think the actual songwriting here is more energetic and diverse though, and certainly more immediately rewarding. I don't know where I'm going with this but both albums are perfect.

I’m definitely biased towards this one because I have legit beef with the Midnight Sky drum sound

Idk, I thought the drums sounded pretty good :]

"man who shitposted that lmao"
That was from Dethtrasher's infamous review of Opeth's Damnation. I figured I'd use it to piggyback on Jesper's comment, lol
