Yeah so this book has a fuckton more text than I expected. They aren't just little song synopses so it'll take me a while to hunt down some stuff.

Vaxis is Sirius

Even if I'm not too into this I gotta give Coheed credit, they're always tinkering with their sound and never feel stale.

Sirius floating around in space since the Keywork was destroyed in NWFT?

Also I just realized this album's artwork is subtly making the Keywork symbol with the placement of the figures... sneaky sneaky

This is the most cohesive record they’ve put out in years. Gatekeepers be mad. Been a fan for years. This shit rules. Listen to the writing writer over and over if you want, it’s not going anywhere. End of story.

Wouldn't Sirius be like 100s of years old in the story by this point?

His name is Sirius but pronounced Cyrus. I'm gonna say that anything is possible in this world.

NGL, I love this album. I feel like Coheed's poppier stuff has always been catchy and wonderful to listen to, and this album is no exception. Also, those last 3 tracks flow perfectly. Rise is so much better in the full album's context

Does it even deserve a 2? I've never been so disappointed in an album when Vaxis 1 seemed to be a step in the right direction. I didn't even make it to the end of the album, I was so annoyed by what I was hearing. I 100% felt this:
Year Of The Black Rainbow (eh) and The Afterman: Ascension (yay!), and The Color Of The Sun (huh?) and Vaxis I (yuh!!).
I would now add Vaxis 2 (wtf?)
