It’s much better. Tbh I’d say it’s the best one aside from the original. Prey is damn good too, and actually yknow what? I think that animated one that dropped this year is actually the best behind the original. Dan Thratchenberg knows what the fuck he’s doing, hoping we actually get a decent AVP movie out of this because Weyland Yutani is prominently featured in the new one. That and Romulus being the best alien flick since Aliens gives me a lot of hope for the future of both franchises, which is unreal because they were both dead in the water five years ago.

Now we just need someone to make a competent terminator flick and we’ll have the trio of best 80’s action flicks back with a vengeance

New Predator movie was fun. Better than I was expecting, but don't expect it to be very serious.

Came across this last night too and thought it was cool. Analog horror set before the first Jurassic Park movie

it was fun. a little too cutesy in parts with the sidekicks and some dialouge but it was enjoyable. i'm just a sucker for the lore of the yautja, looked great too. action was solid.

predator 2 will prob always be my fav sequel though. batshit insane movie lol. buddy cop with voodoo gangs, drug lords in a la heat wave. oh and the predator!

Yeah there were a few too many MCU style gags, thats by far my biggest complaint, but I really enjoyed it and am very excited to see where the franchise goes.

I saw people bitching about how it’s not really a Predator movie… fine I get that but I’d rather they switch up the formula than continually copy/paste the original’s blueprint. Prey was damn good but it was basically just the original with a new coat of paint. Badlands and Killer of Killers are so different but in a very good way.

And im also one of the like, 12 people that loved Halloween Ends. I always appreciate when a long running franchise takes a big swing and that was mostly a hit for me. It’s honestly probably my favorite Halloween behind the very first.

Maybe im too easily impressed by the animated one considering I really don’t watch much like it but I thought it was legitimately incredible and one of the best movies of the year… I really would’ve loved to have seen it on the big screen.

Prey is very good too but it’s just very predictable, if you’ve seen the original once you’ll see every plot point coming from a mile away. The setting is really the only thing that differentiates it. Still, looking at it on its own it’s a damn good movie. I just like Killer of Killers and Badlands more
