I love Cygnus. That’s the track which made Mariner, and that whole collaboration, click for me.
The back half of Dim, when everything gets layered on top of each other and it’s just a glorious wall of sound, takes some beating for me.
Also, a funny thing about SATH; I don’t know how many of you were following the band when that album came out, but they released some band photos leading up to it which had a lot of people on the forums I posted on worried they’d ‘sold out’ on account of their attire (they were all in suits). Mid 2000s metal forums sure were something.
