I went to listen to this again to see if I still hated it and apparently there's a new version of Hallelujah with some person and I listened to it and dear lord it is CHEEKS.

The whole record at this point.
It’s got it’s chill out moments and heavy moments. Aaron sounds fine and spender sounds good. Yes it’s ain’t DTGL but man.. it’s a step up from Erase Me, kind of..
It’s like the awful pop structures were dialed back at least

in early december they did one of those observatory-esque live streams where they one taked the whole album and imo it fixes a lot of the issues i have w the studio mix here, such as the general lack of punch and presence in the guitars (really every instrument lol). spencer's screams are better too really the only thing lost compared to this are some of the vocal harmonies but theyre not that well layered here anyway so eh
