"Magdalena" is my second favorite APC track (behind "Counting...")

It's a good track. I feel like Rose is underrated as well as Sleeping Beauty and Brena. Plus dat bass in Thinking Of You.

I don't really like Rose. Magdelena is pretty alright.

I like the industrial vibe to Rose a lot. The more lackluster tracks are in the second half like Renholder and Over. Really Over is goddamn pointless.

Rose never really did it for me either. I bumped my rating down because nothing on the second half strikes me as that amazing, the rest is incredible though. Thirteenth Step though might be worth a bump to a 5

Oh, it is ;) that album is so emotional and hard hitting. Some of Maynard's most passionate work on there and I dig the atmosphere

a lot. Hard 5.

Crimes and Lullaby are useless though, and giving it a 5 would make it better than 10,000 days which would really mess

up my brain.

They're not useless to me. Crimes heightens the chilling atmosphere of the album and concept as does Lullaby. Also it's loads better than 10,000 Days for sure haha

Yeah, I feel the same way about the shorter tracks on 13th Step, too. I pretty much never listen to any of them.

I find Rose to be kind of a skipable track, Magdelena and Thomas (the last 45 seconds or so of Thomas are pretty bitchin and almost make up for the rest, tho) are alright, and everything else (except Renholder and Over of, course) to be pretty awesome, and Orestes is glorious.

Orestes is easily one of my favorite Maynard performances. The guy poured all of his heart and soul into that one.

Really guys? Am I the only one who prefers this one over 13th Step?

I have em both at a 4, but I generally prefer this one a bit to 13th.

I prefer 13th Step to this as this one has quite a number of weak tracks and I love everything on 13th step apart from the filler tracks. Emotive isn't half as bad as people put it either.

Emotive isn't good but this is awesome and 13th Step is amazing stuff.

One of my personal favourites. I can put this on any time and get lost in it. Truly one of the best albums I've ever heard.

Certainly not their best but I throw this on and high school immediately comes back to me. Such fond memories of this album

Actually reminds me of when I was in elementary school and they used to play Judith on the local rock station, I thought it was Tool at first

though yeah Thirteenth Step is miles better
