"if you’re gonna be that anal about djent zuzek make sure you pucker up"

Can't hear any resemblance to Tesseract at any point, so simply asked.

Consider me puckered up I guess?

Biggest resemblance to Tesseract is probably Secret Garden and that's only some tiny moments. Self-titled EP is where the Tesseract worship really shines

So what would be the correct comparison, I'm kinda curious now. The Contortionist?

Comparisons vary from track to track but I heard Northlane, Erra, Architects (feature aside, lol), and Dayseeker vibes a lot throughout this.

I dont hear most of those bands here lol

I'm honestly not sure of a good comp. I might say middle era bmth or mainstream periphery?

I can't believe I have the same score as pika, time to change it

I even agree about that, periphery is pretty subpar in general

To be more specific, Hurt you reminds me of Alien-era Northlane and the title track reminds me of Node. Constance gives me new Dayseeker vibes (along with Blessed Be which should be on here but isn't). I get some newer Erra vibes from Yellowjacket (especially the verses) and here and there throughout the album cause djent gonna djent.

Fair enough. This band is hard to pin down for sure. They aren’t doing anything inherently new but it’s hard to say they sound like X band either
