I don't envision this being your cup of tea, based on what I know about your taste and preferences. This is a pretty brash bid for huge pop-rock anthems, and even if it lacks subtlety I think they succeed wildly. Lightning is still one of my favorites here haha. The guitar work alone elevates it above ID.

Dealer continues to be the only album I really enjoy by these guys. I respect how they switch it up with each release though.

Dealer took me some time but now it's my favorite by a large margin. I agree it's a mood, slow and calm but in the end it has the most beautiful moments of their entire discog.



That's what's nice with this band, emo, alt rock, post-rock, pop, a litle bit for everyone.

Dealer is my consistent favorite. every track that isn't Glass Coughs is top tier. I just love how the first 2 satisfy the both screamy emo and the chill emo respectively that I am always in the mood for.
