I actually liked Magma but this like a much lesser version of that album and it makes me really concerned about the future direction this band is taking. Also the production is really making this lack any punch.

Honestly I see a lot of these type of reactions/ comments online, and I can see how divisive it is. I'm struggling to find a bad review (or anything below a 3.5) outside sput tho. Maybe they payed everyone to give them pos and forgot about sput XD
I came to this skeptic af, but I'm enjoying more with each listen. Of course I approach them were they belong nowadays, like Mastodon on their late releases f.e. None of those revs put this in the amazing/groundbreaking levels, but as a successful album from an established band. Its also the best performance from the vocalist f.e.. Definitely not a 2 Hawks, and production is pretty cool and detailed.
