they changed the lyrics to that lol, he's been pretty vocal about disliking all the lyrics he wrote in like 2017. that's why they re-recorded Athens France
also Basketball Shoes is a fucking incredible song
|
| |
I mean that's cool but his lyrics haven't exactly improved
|
| |
That's no worse than any of their other awful lyrics lol, just awful songwriting

Oh charli
I pray to forget
In dreams my face is still in your chest
Oh your generous loan to me
Your crippling interest

and still with sticky hands
I bolted through the gallery
Cola stains all over my best white shirt

do groups of words separated by backslashes not carry out the distributive property with a preceding adjective?
let’s say i love instant rice, instant oatmeal, and instant potatoes.
what is the more correct syntax:
i love instance rice/oatmeal/potatoes
i love instant rice/instant oatmeal/instant potatoes.
the bottom one just looks like shit to me
then again the first example could imply that only the rice was instant, in which case maybe a hyphen between it and “rice” would clear the ambiguity.

The first one is correct, everything attached to the '/' pertains to "instant"

I love everything about this and the fact that so many hate it gives me life
|
| |
yeah, first one is fine; if only the rice was instant I wouldn't use a backslash there to begin with

RYM is correct tho, this is very good
Why does an album need to be "mind blowing" to be good?

@FlagAsh it all depends on what you look for in music. If you spend a lot of time listening to music like I imagine a lot of people do on this site, then it all starts to blend in. I love the experience of having my mind blown when a song does something unexpected and it works, or something that hasn't been tried before, which is rare. But I guess music doesn't have to do that to be good, for example if you stick to a couple of artists you identify with then your love fr their music grows gradually.
@Colton if everything you listened to was a 5 then what would even be the point of rating music
