The fade out to invisible past, just after the final lyrics are delivered, is maybe my favourite moment on this, I think it's a bit subtle but the most emotional moment on the album. There's just something incredibly sad about it, Idk. Anyone else?

Are you referring to the transition from the dialogue of (-) to the first notes of The Invisible Past?

No, the very end of invisible past after he sings "love is all"

oh yeah, I get it now. I agree it's a very emotional ending, partly because of its post-rock climax and the tremolo picking - which in any other context other than BM sounds really soulful to me.

Invisible Past is one of the best songs I've ever heard. Every time I relisten to it, it gets me into that emotional wuss state and I can't help it. Can see why anyone can tear up to it, it's sad and beautiful and just magnificent. More or less like the rest of the album but this and In the Night are special high points to me.

Yeah krpa, invisible past hits all the right notes for me. It's cheesy as hell too but idc. Simultaneously sad and life affirming; probably my song of the year

I have no clue why this didn't end after The Invisible Past. She's In Parties is a fine enough song on its own, but really, really damaged my love for this. It was such a perfect ending that I almost get annoyed with the album as a whole when that song comes on

You can just stop it right after The Invisible Past, pretending the last track isn't there haha

I honestly might lol. If it was anywhere else I think I’d actually like the track quite a bit!

Also happy that I’m finally getting around to this! As I’ve been working on my year end list, I’ve realized that this has scratched an itch I didn’t realize I was missing. Being inside so often, I’d been leaning towards much more mellow stuff. My first listen to The Invisible Past gave me a cathartic release that I didn’t know I needed
