This is probably the most listenable album all the way through that I've heard this year. It's very good.

Idk Sowing, this gets kinda boring, songs go on too long.

I think I'll bump this up further. Haven't listened this consistently to 45 mins of the same music in a very long time. It's actually kinda amazing how good this is with repeated listens

I'd say this is the band's worst album tbh

There's no way that can be true.

I need to listen to this ASAP to confirm.

I put this on again today to solidify my feelings about it and I didn't make it all the way through. It's not bad but it is definitely not exciting in any way.

On the last track now.

Jesus, when y'all said this "falls off" after track 2, I didn't think that meant off a cliff.

Huh weird to see a full page of middling affection. Just feels like a nice comeback for a band that most people here began to disregard. The songs aren't earth shattering but they're very catchy and nuanced. This is all I could want from a modern pop rock album.

It's a funny old album, I basically swore off this band after their shitty EP some years back and here we are

If you guys are saying The Adults Are Talking and Selfless aren't the best songs on this by a country mile, than you must be hearing a different album than I am.

It's like they machine-pressed the last bit of juice they had on those first two, then the rest is pulp and seeds.

But as long as we're doing the whole "this is their best since..." bit, this is their best since First Impressions of Earth.

I checked this a month late just to distance myself from the hype/anti-hype machine but I still ended up right smack dab in the middle with a 2.5.

Same as it ever was, same as it ever was.

This one just feels really soulless and uninspired to me. Crying shame really.
